China source for almost half the worlds malware sites
September 4th, 2007A recent report by Sophos AntiVirus released on September 03, 2007 states 44.8 percent of the worlds malware sites are hosted from China. Coming in second place is United States at 20.8 precent.
Sophos detects on average 5,000 new infected pages each day. Sophos also mentions China, United States, and Russia accounts for over three quarters of all known malware infected websites.
