One more reason that anyone concerned with security should consider not using ftp accounts anyway, because of the inherent weaknesses of the protocol (passwords in cleartext, for example). Too bad Flash is so prevalent on the web. The good news is the vulnerabilities have previously been patched, it’s just that too few people proactively make sure that this proprietary Adobe software is up to date.

I think a common man may not be affected by such hackers.. it would be the big companies and buisness men.. but prevention is better than cure..
